ACTIBIO at EXPOSEC 2010 in Athens

ACTIBIO was present at the 9th Exposec Exhibition. Over 600 key stakeholders participated at the event. Local and international sponsor companies that are active in the production and distribution of high-tech security equipment and systems, as well as integrated security services in the fields of personal security, safety of buildings, aviation, airport and maritime security, security of information, telecommunications and electronic transactions, as well as public safety, national and regional security, and national defence were hosted.
Jointly to the exhibition the ExpoSec Conference took place, where prominent political speakers and security experts from Greece and abroad were hosted. The audience consisted primarily of top executives and officers from public and private security organizations that are responsible for the formulation and implementation of local, national and regional security policy, as well as for the provision of state-of-the-art equipment that may serve the quality standards and security objectives dictated by current international conditions. On Wednesday 17th March, a session of the conference was dedicated to “New Technologies & Security Applications”, where the issue of biometrics was addressed.
During the event ACTIBIO distributed numerous leaflets informing the visitors about the project, its concept, goals and outcomes. It was a lot of the visitors who demonstrated their interest in the ACTIBIO project.
