ACTIBIOs exhibition proposal for the EU ICT 2010 in Brussels on 27-29 September 2010 was accepted and thus ACTIBIO will participate at the event, which is Europe’s most visible forum for ICT research and innovation. This biennial event has become a unique gathering point for researchers, business people, investors, and high level policy makers in the field of digital innovation.

The participation of ACTIBIO at this exhibition is a great opportunity to promote the innovative results of the ACTIBIO project to a wider community of potential users, and to establish a close cooperation with end-users, scientific and professional communities, eliminating at the same time the prejudice against biometrics. During the exhibition, the ACTIBIO project aims to familiarize the visitors with the idea of analysing human responses for security related identification purposes as opposed to the conventional exploitation of static biometric physiological and behavioural features.

At the ACTIBIO stand, several posters with information relevant to the project will be visible, leaflets will be available for visitors and the project webpage will be accessible and promoted by the exhibitors. Furthermore, in the exhibition, the visitors will be able to try the following ACTIBIO prototypes:

1) The multimodal activity related authentication module
2) The workplace gait authentication module
3) The abnormal event detection module
